• From Christchurch... about 5 hours by car (daily direct flights available with Air New Zealand).
• From Queenstown... about 1 hour by car.
• From Dunedin... about 3 hours by car.

• On entering Wanaka pass Puzzling World and turn right at the roundabout into Anderson Road.
• Continue until just before the T-section with Aubrey Road, where you should turn right into the shared private driveway (mailboxes on right).
• Bear left and look for the Black Peak View sign.

From the Crown Range road (Queenstown)

• On entering Wanaka, turn right onto the lakefront, continue along and drive up the hill passing the petrol stations on your right.
• Turn left at the roundabout into Anderson Road.
• Continue until just before the T-section with Aubrey Road, where you should turn right into the shared private driveway (mailboxes on right).
• Bear left and look for the Black Peak View sign.
